Prof. Dr. Rudolf Schabus

Prof. Dr. Rudolf Schabus got his early education from his hometown, where he developed his interest in sports. Later during the year 1973, he got admission to a leading medical institute in Vienna. After completing his medical degree, during the year 1978, he started his specialization in orthopedics. Dr. Rudolf Schabus completed his specialization at the University Clinic of Traumatology in Vienna during the year 1985. After completing his specialization during the same year, he started his fellowship program in the same Traumatology Institute in Vienna. Prof. Dr. Rudolf Schabus started his professional career at the same institute where he completed his specialization. During the year 1988, he got admission to Venia Docendi for his Ph.D. and also served there as an orthopedic consultant. Later on, during the year 1990, he also completed his sports & traumatology diploma from the same institute and then got promoted to the Sports & traumatology unit as a specialist. After completing his Ph.D. he promoted as Vice Head of the Traumatology unit in University Clinic Vienna in 1991 Dr. Rudolf Schabus also served in various institutes in the USA as a visiting consultant. He served in Marshall-hospital San Francisco as a senior sports & traumatology consultant. He also offered his services as an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Minneapolis. Dr. Rudolf Schabus joined Wiener Privatklinik during the year and served there as Head of competence Sports & traumatology unit.
