Prof. Dr. Rainer Kotz is a specialized orthopedic oncologist with over 50 years of experience. He is working as a medical director of the Wiener Privatklinik and has expertise in the following areas: Hip Endoprosthesis Knee joint Endoprosthesis Bechterew’s Disease Osteoid Osteoma Spine Tumors Osteomyelitis Prof. Dr. Rainer Kotz received his medical education from the University of Vienna. After that, he went to the USA for practice and got his equivalence medical degree in 1970 from the Educational Council of Medical Graduates. Later on, after his return from the USA, he completed specialized training in orthopedics in 1974. Dr. Rainer Kotz completed his research in tumor orthopedics at the University of Vienna in 1974. He visited many countries and served there as a visiting tumor orthopedics specialist for a specified period of time.
